Joey's mom is believed to be a Great Pyrenees/Maremma and our best guess is that his dad might have been an Akbash dog. Joey is very shy with people, so his adopter will need to be very patient. Joey is a great livestock guardian who lives in the pasture with our goats. In general, he gets along with other dogs, though he does better with females than with males.
