Raquel was raised on a farm with horses, goats, chickens, and a few other animals. She came to us after fire destroyed the farm and the family had to re-locate. Since coming into rescue, Raquel has lived primarily with goats, but has also been exposed to longhorn cattle, donkeys, and chickens. She gets along well with other dogs and ignores the barn cats. Raquel is afraid of thunder, gunfire, and fireworks, and during noise events, she seeks shelter inside the barn/workshop, so it's important for her to have a substantial shelter (not just a loafing shed or dog house).
