Watch out, this Bandit will steal your heart!

Bandit is an Anatolian Shepherd/Pyrenees puppy, a loveable smart boy with an independent spirit that could easily learn from an older working livestock guardian dog or be a well rounded pet with someone who understands the Anatolian temperament and who is willing spend some time in his training. Bandit was one of 11 puppies born on a working farm with goats, turkeys, chickens, pigs, and cattle. At 9-10 weeks, he went to his current foster home with a male litter mate, 5 human kids, and small handful of farm animals (chickens, horses, donkeys, and cats). As a curious puppy he will occasionally chase one of the resident farm kitties, but they know how to take care of themselves and he is quickly learning the no kitty lesson!  He doesn’t mind the water, and enjoys splashing in his water bowl, little pool, or drinking from the hose to cool off. He may or may not like to get in the horse trough too! While all dogs will bark, Bandit seems to be a more quiet and observant independent type. In his current foster home situation, he respects the older livestock guardian dog, her space and authority, and with the female collie he is also respectful of the fact she does not love play, but will shower her face with kisses if she lets him. With his male litter mate he tends be the in charge and have a more dominant personality. He is a confident dog, progressing well in learning basic manners such as how to behave on a leash, sit, and not jump up. Overall, this big ole Bandit is a heart breaker and will be a wonderful addition to almost any home!
