Great Pyrenees (long coat) : : Female (spayed) : : Adult : : X-Large
Sadie has lived both inside the house and in the pasture, and she seems equally content either place AS LONG AS SHE IS GETTING PLENTY OF LOVE. She is a good guardian for goats, sheep, chickens -- just about any type of animal you might have, she will protect. We think that she might be happiest on a small homestead (5 acres or less) where she has a family to love and protect, and maybe a few farm animals to look after. She gets along well with other dogs, but doesn't automatically trust them to be safe with whoever she is in charge of guarding, whether that's your back yard chickens or your children. She gets a little bit annoyed with dogs who are too nosy/pushy during introductions, and she may growl to let the other dog know they're invading her space. But in her foster home, she lives in peace with several other big dogs. If Sadie sounds like the perfect addition to your family, please complete the application on our website.
