Anatolian Shepherd (medium coat) : : Female (spayed) : : Young : : Large
Willow Anne and her sister Winnie came from a litter of pups born because the owners of their parents won't spend the money to spay/neuter their dogs. They sold or gave away siblings, but these two girls remained. The owners wouldn't feed them because they didn't want them. Their dogs all live outside in an unfenced yard, so naturally the two pups roamed the neighborhood until they found a Good Samaritan who fed them. When the kind neighbor asked around to find out who the pups belonged to, she found her way to the owners, who told her that she should keep them because otherwise, they would shoot the pups. Welcome to life in rural America. She took care of them but couldn't keep them because her place isn't fully fenced either. So she found us, and we brought the pups to Windsong Ranch. Willow Anne has not yet had the opportunity to live inside the house, but at Windsong Ranch, she has a 12' x 12' fully enclosed horse stall for shelter. She does all her potty business outside in the yard, so we expect she will be easy to house/potty-train. If you are interested in fostering or adopting Willow and showing her what it means to live inside the house, please complete the application on our website. There are separate applications for fostering and adopting, but both can be found at www.bluebonnetrescue.org. https://www.bluebonnetrescue.org/forms/form?verify=abc123&formid=3796 More about Willow AnneGood with Dogs, Good with Adults, Leashtrained, Cratetrained Other Pictures of Willow Anne (click to see larger version):
