Yavuz came to Bluebonnet as a proven LGD (livestock guardian dog) who has spent his life guarding sheep, goats, chickens, ducks, and more. After a trip to our vet to be neutered and vaccinated, we moved Yavuz into one of our pastures, where he got along with the other dogs and seemed to enjoy doing perimeter patrol. Yavuz as adopted by the family that adopted Macallan, where he will be protecting a beautiful herd of Nigerian Dwarf goats and a few guineas who help keep the insect population under control.
